Robert Schoenfield Joins Aeris.net As New Senior Vice President Marketing And Business Development

Wireless Industry Veteran to Expand Machine-to-Machine Solutions in North America

SAN JOSE, Calif. | June 14, 2004  —Aeris.net, a leading provider of wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) communications services is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Schoenfield as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. Schoenfield is expected to play an important strategic business development role as the company expands its machine-to-machine services to new markets and territories.

Schoenfield is a well-known and highly regarded wireless executive with over 15 years experience in promoting wireless services. In his role, Schoenfield will lead the Marketing and Business Development activities as Aeris rolls out new network services and products. Prior to his new appointment, Schoenfield led the expansion of Aeris.net into Latin America as President of Aeris.net South America. He has also held the position of Vice President of International Development for Tetra Tech, a North American telecommunication infrastructure provider, where he expanded Tetra Tech's business operations into South America. Prior to his South American experience, Schoenfield was Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Whalen & Company, where he marketed and directed the deployment of next-generation wireless networks. He was also a key member of the Senior Management team at Nextel Communications during its start-up and early operational phases.
