CWSentry™ Wireless M2M Rapid Development Platform Receives Aeris.net Qualification

Palm-sized Module Dramatically Reduces Time-to-Market for Wireless M2M Applications

(Austin, Texas) October 25, 2004   - CriticalWireless Corporation announced today that its new CWSentry wireless machine-to-machine (M2M) module has been qualified for commercial deployment on the Aeris.net MicroBurst® network throughout North America. CriticalWireless has been an Aeris.net authorized solution provider for over four years.

The patent-pending CWSentry module is compact and self-contained with onboard I/O terminals, advanced microprocessor control and internal battery backup, and was designed to allow rapid solution development for virtually any wireless remote monitoring and control application. CWSentry is a key a component of CriticalWireless' M2M Services Suite that includes monitoring, alarming, and control of remote equipment from mobile devices (M2WAP™ Portal), the web (M2Web™ Portal), or any telephone (M2Voice™ Portal).

"The CWSentry module is an extremely flexible platform that allows equipment manufacturers and owners to quickly and inexpensively incorporate web-based wireless remote monitoring and control functionality into their machines," says Charles Christie, VP Marketing and Business Development. "And thanks to the huge footprint of the MicroBurst network, CWSentry-based solutions can be deployed almost anywhere in North America. This is an exciting new chapter in our long-standing relationship with the Aeris.net team."

The small form-factor of the CWSentry module can be incorporated into most existing control panels and cabinets. Flexible analog, digital, and serial I/O capabilities (both onboard and via expansion modules) ensure compatibility with virtually any signal interface or protocol.

As part of an exclusive licensing agreement with CriticalWireless, Lindsay Manufacturing Corporation (NYSE: LNN) recently released the FieldSENTRY™ system based on the CWSentry platform. FieldSENTRY is a web-based agricultural irrigation remote monitoring and control solution that helps growers maximize scarce and expensive resources such as water, energy, and manpower ( http://www.fieldsentry.com ). Other OEM licensing agreements are pending.
