Aeris has verified the set of parameters that enable a Wavecom CDMA Wireless CPU^® to operate over the Aeris network throughout North America. Wavecom can now preload the Aeris network information into the Q2438 and CM52 Wireless CPU^® devices during their production. These Aeris-provisioned products may be ordered from Wavecom or from any Wavecom distributor.

It is also ideal for fixed location telemetry applications such as Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and tank monitoring solutions.

In addition, the CM52 Wireless CPU supports automotive manufacturing and certification, but may also be used for any applications that have to hold up under extreme conditions. The modules are resistant to shock, vibration and extreme temperatures. The CM52 is certified for the Aeris Digital Network—1XRTT, SMSDirect™, Voice and Digital MicroBurst^® Services.
