In his new role, Gurza will be responsible for all business development activities for Aeris.net in Mexico and for fixed applications throughout North America. Before this promotion, Gurza was the Director of Fixed Applications. He managed the stationary-type MicroBurst applications, including Aeris's largest account, the Ademco Group (a unit of Honeywell). Gurza has also been Director of Mexico Business Development. He led early market development efforts in Mexico, including signing up Mexico-based providers of both fixed and mobile applications, and has been on point for commercial relations with Telcel, our carrier partner in Mexico. Prior to joining Aeris.net, Gurza held a variety of key management positions in both sales and operations at two of the top 3 publicly-held alarm companies, Wells Fargo® Alarm Services, Inc. and ADT® Security Services, Inc. Most recently, he was instrumental in restructuring the organization at First Alarm®, one of the industry's top 25 privately-held alarm companies based in Santa Cruz County.
